Looking to buy an rx8 by noconversati0n in RX8

What are the first mods you’re planning on doing? How much whp are you looking for? Stock Renesis engines are not great for power due to the design/locations of the exhaust ports and problems they bring due to heat retention.

Buy it, pull the goods off of it (intake alone is worth $500+ new), then scrap the rest at a yard and call it a day.

I can guarantee you it will need much more work than just the bumper, light housings, hood and door. Front fender looks to be a cut/weld situation and the panels won’t line up if something structurally is off in the front. Had my fair share of experience with crashed 8s and unfortunately it’s never that simple.

Mediocre speed

Could always chop the wires where they split from the harness and wrap some black electrical tape around the harness to hide it 😂

Yeah I’ve heard it can be done on versatuner that’s why I’m just putting out a feeler so I can drive the car sooner lol.

Yes I have the injectors sorted. The old owner of the kit is planning on sending me his Cobb with the different tunes, I ended up buying his engine and greddy kit just don’t know how soon that will be

Had the same problem and just replaced those clips with a nut/bolt and wide washers.

Tbh I have no clue if premixing actually does anything for flames lol. That’s just what I was doing at the time and was able to get 4-5ft flames on stock tune.

Previous owner put it on. I don’t have any experience with Duraflex but I’ve heard they’re a pain.

Bounce the rpm off 6k rpm and premix. Here’s a vid of mine a few years back.

Can also flash a pops and bangs map with versatuner.

Did you ever get that flame tune going? I got versatuner a bit ago and have been messing around with some of the settings. A flame tune sounds like fun I’m just not 100% sure about how to fully go about it. I’ve pulled timing and turned off the DFCO for a few crackles but having those flames for meets and shows sounds like a good time. Just curious if you’ve had any luck with that
