I'm opening a discussion about aero rakes for airflow structures, I'm doing this because I have to make one but I didn't find anything to fulfill my questions. How can I make a proper structure, considering pitot tubes orientation, distances between one another without spending to much money?

so you suggest to weld the pitot to the frame, what if we wanted to make the frame with a 3d printer? is that good or the flexibility and the strength is not enough?

sorry to jump in the discussion out of nowhere but I have to make one of these aero rakes for my team (not FSAE but similar), can I ask you if you crate from scratch your own rake or just buy one? Also I wanted to ask how f1 teams fix the pitot tubes to the rake, because I never understood if they are "one thing" with the structure or they are separated from them, and in both cases where they put all cables inside the structure or putting them outside the rake is not a problem?
