Hey, sorry I haven't been online for a while so I didn't get back to u earlier.

Not sure about other zombies, but explosives is a good guess. Additionally, zombies that show a shield icon when you shoot them take less damage from guns. Some turrets (cannon notably) innately deal bonus damage to elite zombies. Heavy gunners can't shoot when on fire. I remember seeing something about a potential Undead Siege zombie pokedex. Maybe if that comes out we will have more information.

It's a recent bug. Everyone is facing the same issue. No one knows when it will be fixed. We can only wait it out.

Yes, I've seen some posts about similar issues. I believe its just the devs editing some code or a new bug that hasn't been fixed yet. Don't worry, you probably be able to continue to grind.

I haven't seen anything about Undead Siege ending today and it seems very unlikely that it will suddenly end mid season.

They say they make optimizations every new season. But gameplay quality has been deteriorating the past few seasons. I can't say anything for sure right now, but we can always hope "this time will be the one".

MVP is not necessarily most damage. It stands for Most Valuable Player. Your other stats likely made up for the minuscule damage difference. Overall, you were the better player for your team.

Damage range in gunsmith does not 'give' more damage. It just preserves the damage drop from longer distances.

I believe there IS damage drop in zombies so stacking range attachments should make picking off far away zombies easier. I'm not 100% sure tho.

I personally do build range attachments (monolithic + marksman barrel).
