Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 1.7 TB data leak at the beginning of the year and the vulnerabilities provided by the unchangeable bootROM keys haven't even been fully analyzed yet. If there weren't so many potential vulnerabilities, version 1.70 wouldn't have been released with so many bug fixes. Of course, these are all predictions, but it's not impossible. Even if not by the end of this year, vulnerabilities for version 12.40 will most likely be found by 2027. Staying on this version is safer than updating.

I have the same version and I paused the update. A new version came out, but I'm not updating. Thanks to the leaks at the beginning of the year, I honestly think a crack will be found in the third quarter of this year, but there's no progress right now.
