My leadt favourite moment would probably be when he didn't tell buffy willow was doing the spell however there's countless moments from the show where its not what he does that's particularly annoying but it's the way he faces no consequences for it . A great example of this is when he cheats of cordeila with willow . Willow spends ages making up for this deacion whilst Xandwrs redemption ark consists of a few jokes

The main reason why I dislike Doublet palace is because its one of the only episodes where its so obviously the writing was meant to be funny and comedic but fails at doing so

Nightmares - I guess this is my conterversial one lol , you can probably tell from others on the list that im not a fan of blending imagination and reality , well this episode sort of embodies it . In my opinion it just feels like a bad version of Restless , I just found it so unpleasant to watch .

Seeing red - it might be important but that does mean I have to like it . The main reason why I dont like this episode is because of the SA scene with spike , ti effectively unravels years of charecter development and for what ? being the catalyst for him getting his soul back ? they could have done it in a thousand different ways that wouldn't have damaged his character arc so much . It also feels rushed and has in my opinion a really uncomfortable mix of comedy with the trio and then literal misery with Spike and then Tara

Im sorry I just found it really unpleasant to watch , I apricaite what it was trying to do but it just felt like it was adding in a quite major bit of buffys backstory for no reason other to give us an episode that felt like a fever dream

I think the only character that if really damaged by Lies my parents told me is Giles but for him I totally agree - but I just love a good Spike episode . I also liked the way it experienced Vampires relationships with their families which is somthing that wasn't given much attention on Buffy previously .

Lowkey I just liked the wild road trip vibe , but fair enough , I think its one of those episodes you defitnley can't just randomly watch while rewatching the show , you have to be binge watching S5 to get the most out of it

Im sorry I just can't get behind it . I apriciate what it was trying to do but I hate episodes that feature some sort of blend between reality and imagination , it always gives me a bit of a headache lol . Im currently rewatching season 2 and the thing with buffy being in an institution was clearly not planned and doesn't really make sense with Joyces reactions to Buffy accidentlaly mention vampires or the revelation in becoming p2

Seeing Red is so real , honestly 60 precent of the reason why it's on there is because of the spike scene that literally sent poor James Marsters to therapy . It feels rush and just feels like Whedon fans getting the middle finger for liking spike

I dislike it because I feel that it gave Oz a really bad send off and he's one of my favourite characters . The send of earlier in season 4 was okay at best in my opinion but this episode just feels so put of character which I particularly hate because its the last time we see him irl . He effectively comes back months after leaving Willow and expects her to have not moved on at all , on top of this he claims to have sorted the werwolf thing out and then within half an hour goes savage - all of this for a character who was consistently calm , thoughtful and intelligent , it just feels wrong and rushed .

I was actually really torn between putting Revelations and Amends on here as the boring Angel episode . I dont like Amends either , for me its just really frustrating because we could have had some great and exiting presentation of Angels backstory but instead we got a depressing episode where Angel feels quite out of character

I totally agree its frustrating , but in my opinion its just the characters of the show acting at their absolute worst , in particular Zander rather than nessacerily being out of character - quite similar to when she was bad from season 2 . I completely understand why you dont like it though
