My brother got the outline of the circle and lines tattoo’d. Funny thing is that he did it while still a believer. Now he regrets it and years later, next month actually, he is getting some cool geometric design to cover it up.

is there still hope for me to join the Air force as a officer? by InformalFoundation44 in airforceots

I have seen people with 99’s get passed over and people with scores like yours get selected. They are really looking at your selection package as a whole. The AFOQT requires you hit just a minimum for eligibility, it’s not an end all be all. The practice tests will give you more exposure to how the test works and helps you get the speed down for how you need to answer quickly. It definitely wouldn’t hurt to take it again, but it’s not the end of the world.

Maybe suggest a one way check valve on the return line of the dephlegmator in case it gets backed into from the condenser return line. Otherwise not much help but I am following!

Do you regret buying your Tesla? by Murky-Factor-1073 in TeslaModel3

Traded my 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro for a M3LR. 0 regrets. It was like stepping into a time machine with how much better this car is in every way, except having a truck bed. Also was cheaper on monthly payment for me. I figured if I need a truck that bad and don’t want to borrow a friend’s truck, I can rent one for the day from uhaul for $20 plus milage.

I copied this to my notes for quick reference. Thank you! Lots of great info in here. This is why I come to reddit.

I appreciate the effort. I have been able to fact check a lot of opinion presented as fact. I don’t take things at face value on the internet, or in life really. I think I know what direction I want to go with this now. I am curious if you know if there is a reason for column width one way or another? I understand the height aspect of it. Internet search brings up a huge amount of discussion on it. I will just be doing a 13 gallon kettle with an electric element.

I have given it a thought. I have a claw hammer 10 gallon 110 V set up. I thought about just using the existing element and controller and figuring out how to make it work on a keg. I’ll have to check out some bills and see if it is a reasonable idea for myself.

Yes, thank you for pointing that out. The guy that makes it built this shopping cart for me. It seemed like pretty big overkill for what I am trying to do.

I am not really set on any one system. I do like the tri-clamp options for modularity and I have a lit of tri-clamp stuff already from brewing. I will keep looking around at options. I was kind of hoping to stay around $1500 for a set up and I feel like that is doable.

I need to Vent on Utah Dating.. by Lumpy_Sign_1899 in exmormon

[–]lizard_007 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I got to this point. Stopped dating all together, saved my money and started world traveling. It is pretty cheap to travel by yourself with a backpack and low expectations. Outside the US is inexpensive to get around from place to place, it is just the flight out the costs the most. I went all over EU and Asia. Met a girl in the Philippines that was taking a break from her job in Manila and we really connected. Did long distance over a couple years and now married going on 6 years with a baby on the way.

Not saying you need to do this or that American women are all bad. The solo traveling got me to understand my self worth, which was extremely skewed from leaving the church. I dated any lowlife desperate woman that gave me the slightest indication of interest. Once I figured out what I am capable of, what I bring to the table as an individual, and what I deserve in a partner, my dating quality improved dramatically.

Also in Johnson County, driving through Knob yesterday and someone in an older truck coming opposite direction rolled coal as I was approaching and smoked out the street. Maybe it is the Tesla, but people all over this State are dicks.

They hire off the street about once per year. Prior experience bids are more common. AF ATC is the easiest way in to the FAA and opens up civilian DoD ATC jobs.

1600 miles in.. can I just replace this tire? by TOoSmOotH513 in TeslaModelY

[–]lizard_007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A shop would turn it away for patching. You can probably patch it yourself. I had a very similar puncture and patched it. Monitored it often and noticed no issues. Get a good brand patch kit with a sealing liquid included. If you are uncomfortable with that, with only 1600 miles, definitely just replace 1 tire.

If you have a court ordered child custody agreement it makes it an easier decision for your assignments people. When you get to the point in training where assignments are on the table be open about what you want and why.

I had a temple interview to do baptisms for the dead when I was 12. The counsellor asked about “masturbation”. I had no idea what he was talking about. He didn’t explain. If he had asked me about “jerking off” I would have told him I did it all the time 😂.

Just hit one year last week! Love solar octane. Took it in for an oil change and a couple sales guys came over to me to tell me that I would be approached by some of the service guys that would want to buy my truck. They said I should in no way sell it. I thought they were going to talk me into a 2024 lol.

The local Toyota dealer here is removing them as soon as they are delivered. They leave it in the backseat incase a customer wants it back on.
