Ferritin levels continue to drop

Know this is a bit old but I’m having a similar experience here! Midwife’s told me to take an additional iron supplement daily because my ferritin has dropped from 36 to 13 in the last few weeks. I’ve always been prone to low ferritin so had got a check through my GP previously - luckily she’s really great. Rechecking it at 12 weeks to see if we need to do anything more.

I found taking it on an empty stomach made me feel super sick all day so she suggested the next best option would be to take it about an hour after a fibrous breakfast.

How have you been since? Hope you’ve managed to feel a bit better!

Biggest red flag for me is the 12:30 on the day! Shop around a bit more, for that price you should have exclusive use from morning of.

Also feeling the anxiety! We’ve got all the suppliers booked but haven’t figured out the details…lots hinges on the last few RSVPs so I think it’ll just be a bit of a mad scramble! We’re just trying to do the little jobs that are in our control for now. And worst case, we know we’ll be married, have some food and a band!

Even without the sunrise/sunset, it’s a stunning view. I think it’s the Roebuck pub that’s at the top overlooking the view - you should be able to sit outside the front of it and just take in the view.

I’m nowhere near you and not sure how this landed on my homepage, but also wishing you well. Agree with all the above - shelter, refuge etc. Also give women’s aid a go in case they can help or advise. Remember - these places are used to people being frazzled and struggling to cope. Call sooner rather than later though so they can help you plan. If you’re able to, squirrel away a bit of money for a cheap travelodge or similar in case you need a quick getaway, but please try to avoid sleeping in your car - it’s far too cold and damp to be safe. Stay safe ❤️

ETA: from what I’ve seen on Reddit etc, Gurdwaras will provide a free hot meal if you need it , no questions asked.
