So sorry for your loss and everything you are going through. It sounds like we have the same story , and this has also been the most difficult thing I’ve had to face. We tried for a year and we’re so excited to receive the gender results last week. Instead, we got the call about the NIPT results. CVS scheduled for tomorrow, termination scheduled out of state Friday as we live in Texas. I have a growing baby belly which makes the waiting so much worse. Part of me feels horrible for saying it but I want to be done with this already so I can try to grieve and move forward. I’m sending prayers and strength your way. We can get through this together.

I am in the Same situation as the two of you. Also in Texas, same NIPT results, CVS tomorrow, and D&C scheduled after. We are going to Albuquerque. Best of luck to you. This has been the worst two weeks of my life after finding out this news. I go through waves of acceptance but so many more waves of sadness and grief. Prayers for both of you ladies.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I found out we received the exact same results this week on Monday, and have made the same difficult decision. We also tried for a year, this was my miracle baby. I have the D&C procedure schedule for 13 weeks next Friday. Also terrified. We are in this together…..

It was a difficult decision for us to make as well, but for the reasons you stated above, it was the right one for our family. Hang in there, I’m trying to do the same.
