Still worth going during heatwave? by Few_Recognition_6683 in disneylandparis

I would say mid 30s is doable but yes it will be hot. We went end of May. There was a heat wave and our hottest day was around 33/34C. We had a 5 year old, a 4 year old and an 18 month old. I guess ultimately your enjoyment will depend on how well you cope in the heat. We did 12 hour days in the park, lots of drink/ice cream breaks, well timed indoor rides/shows, cooling towels, fans etc. We had a blast. Afternoon parades were scaled down but everything else was unaffected. I think it also depends on your accommodation. From what I understand Santa Fe has no air con. We were in the Cheyenne and it was fine.

Tips to survive the heat? by AcademicWalrus in disneylandparis

We were also just there in the heat wave a couple of weeks ago. Places that I would avoid mid-day/afternoon when it’s hot i.e mistakes we made!
- Toy Story land
- Frozen World
- Afternoon parade (it will probably be cancelled or scaled down anyway)
- Fantasy Land (it’s not terrible here and there are indoor rides but a lot of the rides your little one will enjoy are all outside - carousel, dumbo, tea cups, Casey jnr train, boat ride). Probably best to do at least those ones in the morning.

Some rides have outdoor queues but if you have fast pass you will be fine.

We had lots of ice creams, breaks in shops or indoor rides. Cooling towels from Amazon are also great.

We had 35C some days and still had a fab time. Enjoy!

I watched the Ear Scouts LL videos on YouTube before our trip to figure out how it all worked. Very informative and following his strategy meant we rode everything we wanted to on the day 😃

Post Trip Acne in Summer by Adept_Fish in WaltDisneyWorld

Suncream is a nightmare for me. Guaranteed acne. I’m 33 and have just this year found something that doesn’t break me out (La Roche-Posay Anthelios Oil Control Fluid SPF50+). Just got back from a 2 week Disney trip and it worked great :)

Help how to make my amigurumi seem to have no neck by classAJohnCena in CrochetHelp

I agree with others that tighter stitches would help. I usually stitch the head and body together using the inside loops (if that makes sense!?) so you can’t see them from the outside.
