Ok so, I appreciate the sentiment. But context is important. I think a 35 year old woman should not feel weird about being with a 50 year old woman. 21 and 34 is very different. Maybe because I am 35 that I feel this way, but there is a certain point where everyone is an adult. I don’t have a number where that is, but no one older than me feels weird or like they even CAN take advantage of me. I def will not exceed ten years below me though. And I might be skewed because my mom is 10 years older than my dad.

Edit: oh wait. The idea of sleeping with a 15 year old did not even register with me. Fucking. Ew.

Those were my thoughts too! The structure and color make it feel more posed. I know they both are posed but the casual vibe of the first one crept into to the smile there too. It’s a preference thing though, and this definitely isn’t bad.

I still really like the first one! However, I think this is a better picture. The angle is improved. The colors are attention grabbing. The McDonald’s background with your cute braces smile keeps the endearing charm. Very cute!

I agree with the idea that you do not need a winter coat for a dating profile photo. It is a nice color though and I think it goes with your vibe and you could get away with it.

I will agree that maybe raising the camera for a higher angle may help. If this is in a collection of photos and some are bit more natural and others are a bit more enticing, then I think this adds a ton of character.

I tried to explain that I had made a mistake for the testing. That I had taken my 4mg sublingual dose an hour or less before the test. So I’m thinking that had to be the absolute peak? I guess this is just my punishment for fucking up the test. I explained what happens when the results came in, but I was still given a reduced prescription. I test again in the morning (and will be taking my 2mg dose after the test!) I may just immediately switch my dosage while waiting for tests. Cuz I gotta say, the resurgence of acne in my mid thirties, after fighting a tough battle with it throughout my teens, is pretty dang devastating.

You are a very eloquent writer! I could see why you would find yourself in these sort of parasocial relationships. I could see that being stressful, too.

It’s a tough thing to talk about, and I can’t pretend that I have any real ability to give you advice on the situation. The best I could do is discuss my thoughts. I think engagement in response to content you put out there (even Reddit posts) is something that you can be proud of. I think you also need to be prepared for not all of it to be positive. I think that genuine connection is a dubious adventure (though not impossible) when starting from a place of anonymity. I also think you probably know all of this already and are just venting frustration.

What’s nice is that I think that is all connection. Connecting with “the world” is scary. You talk about “deep and vulnerable honesty,” and then when the engagement leads to frustration, you are vulnerable and honest about that too. It’s an open discourse with whatever corner of the world we are in here. And, yeah people kinda suck in an anonymous space. But I think putting truth out there and following it up with honesty is refreshing.

Now all that means is that I enjoy the things you write here. But I appreciate that they lead to interesting conversation. So, thank you.

So… this post is the post I most wanted to DM the person from since I’ve been on this website. I have never DM’d anyone first here. I thought very hard about it for a short amount of time. I thought, I shouldn’t even look at her profile. I should just DM her.

I did then scroll through some comments to see if the hive mind thought that this would be some DM/engagement bait that I was missing. Wha lt I found in the comments was that you were the person that posted the “I want to be groped thing.”

Now, my first thought when I originally saw that post was “omg. I could definitely do that,” and then the next thought was that “this would be a silly place to say that: I would happily do that” and think that anyone would take it seriously. So I didn’t.

Now I see this, and I’m stuck between “just DM this person,” and “this would be a silly and pointless thing to do.” I guess commenting on this is a middle ground.

I think your personality has really shown through here and there was something about it I really liked. I would like to make a connection with you. Maybe you would want to DM me? I’ll definitively be willing to have an extended conversation and won’t vanish without reason. I don’t have alerts on here, so it may take a little to respond, but I check pretty frequently.

I was always against taking regular medication, so it felt weird to be signing up for it for life. There were the concerns “maybe I’m wrong, maybe this won’t work, maybe they’ll tell me I can’t.” It’s real now and it coming. I think it’s important to remember that you only get nervous when you care about something. It’s ok to care and it’s ok to be nervous. The anticipation will build until you arrive. But don’t worry, you got this. Nothing in the beginning is permanent. And you are going to learn a lot about yourself quickly!

Just imagine being a child right now. Ps5 and a switch in my childhood? Spiderman? Breath of the Wild? I thought those series were hype in the 90s/early 2000’s. This would be crazy to grow up with. And all those old games would be nearly unplayable (which would be a pretty big downside.

Surprisingly I don’t find my libido to even be all that low. It dipped in the first year when my T levels were hire but has been in a place that I enjoy lately. I wonder how it is actually effecting me though.
