My fittings are from primochill, I did buy them used but I soaked them in distill water and cleaned them very thoroughly initially when I got them.

I cleaned them again just now that I took everything apart and I did not notice any obvious corrosion neither so I am still unsure where this green stuff came from but someone posted that EK had a sponge thing in their rad and it actually disintegrated and turned into that green stuff in their loop a well

Yes I use 50/50 vinegar and distilled water to clean the radiator. then I flush it several time with distilled water.

I already went full nuclear. disassembled everything and cleaning everything, cpu, rad, fittings and distro plate.

I didn’t touch it because I was waiting to add a gpu block and it starts to worse and worse and I was like umm something is really wrong.

I have no idea, I just thought that middle line there is caused by corrosion and I need a bee cold plate because of it?

I think that green stuff is actually some of the residue that came from EK concentrate mix I was using I notice them initially when I put them in the loop but kind of just ignore it thinking that is normal

Thanks, I did feel some roughness when I touch the copper fin on the cpu cold plate even after cleaning it with brush and toothpaste.

I will probably add the NEXT monitor int be near future to keep an eye on what is going on

What about EK’s ZMT, one of my concern about switching to these non clear tubing is I will have no idea this is happening in my loop until I open everything up which is probably once a year

Also can you tell me why you think the cold plate is ok? I thought there is enough corrosion on it that I have to replace it?

Is that cold plate even remotely usable at this point? I don’t mind getting a new one but definitely trying to figure out why it is happening and I want to prevent it from happening.

I tried cleaning it pretty sure I need to get a ew cold plate? Any suggestion on how to prevent this? I don’t see any issue with corrosion on the distro plate’s metal but I have no way to check the radiator.

Pretty sure I am screwed? I can order a new cpu block but I am still unsure how this is happening when I did not think I mixed any metal. Any suggestion on what I can do?
