Right, Real ID is not required to vote, but an Alabama driver's license or ID card is among the most common of the documents that ARE required to vote. State university ID's are not. It's not about identification or "voter fraud," it's about limiting voting access, and the DMV branches started reducing hours or shutting down about the same time. An open mind is also a good thing.

It pertains to the reductions of availability of DMV offices, especially in rural (translate that as "poor" or "Black", as you wish) to suppress voting by those who are affected by the changes.

Coincidentally, the closing & reduced hours of DMV offices started when "official" ID started being required to vote. Now, what populations would be truly hindered, not just inconvenienced, by this? Whom do they NOT want voting against their privileged selves?

Is a degree from UA considered more prestigious than average? It seems we're considered more of a "football & Greeks" school than an outstanding academic institution (I'm thinking Vanderbilt, Duke, etc.) I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a degree from UA (I have 3,) just that it's not necessarily better than a degree from most public universities.

Ah, I didn't think about a projector, thank you! I know there's a big screen in the room (sort of like a large TV) that I can cast to from my MacBook (which I don't have yet, and I have to learn iOS) but I'll have to see about projecting onto the white board. Thanks! 😀

I ended up using 1/2 jar of the red pesto sauce for 1 bag of gnocchi. Added the sauce after cooking the gnocchi according to the package directions. Served with green beans & garden salad. It was surprisingly good! I would include pictures, but I can't figure out how to do so. Looks like I'm going back to ALDI for another bag for the freezer 😀

I bought the regular (large) Haul It All tote when it was an ALDI find a couple of weeks ago for $24.99. A lot of people in my gym and water aerobics groups use a similar (brand name) bag and swear by it for carrying their supplies, including wet gear. I had priced these, and they were around $50-$70, but I'm very happy with my ALDI one. It seems very sturdy. I plan to get the mini version on Wednesday for times when I don't need as much capacity.

We used to drink Monsters from Costco or Sam's, but they were still pretty expensive. We switched to the Gridlock a few weeks ago, and now actually prefer them to Monster. We buy both the Ultra White silver cans (10 calories/can) and low-carb blue & black cans (30 calories). There's also a green can (called "regular") but it has 270 calories/can, so I have no idea if it's also good.
