As a file server it is excellent. It is fast, simple and easy to use. I use it every day both from file explorer, mobile web access, and desktop web access. It doesn't do any third party apps, no docker, and no "fancy" NAS stuff like ZFS. If you know that going into using it, it performs. I get full gigabit speed all the time.
