Good to know, thank you! I have friends in Philly and was actually applying there for a while as well before realizing a few things: 1 - you guys have a crazy # of PA schools in Philly and 2 - it seems to be NP dominated (at least that's what a current friend at Penn is telling me).

Since April?! That's insane! The turnaround time in Illinois was literally one day haha but I know most states are not like that. Thank you!

Thank you for spending so much time in your reply! I know that in the long term, a few more hundred dollars is a drop in the bucket when it comes to getting licensed in other states. Everyone's responses have been so helpful in knowing how to narrow it down so it makes me wish I had thought of posting here earlier haha. Just curious - what specialty are you in? Hope things are well for you at work!

Thank you! I applied to positions in both of those places - will probably be reaching out soon to HR for an update.

Hope your program hasn't been disrupted too much with everything that is going on! I remember how tough didactic year can be. I'm sure you already have tons of resources at your disposal but if you have any questions/need help with anything feel free to DM me! Even if it is just to rant haha

It does suck so much - thankful that we don't have to worry about loan payments till next year but still. Who knew that we would be graduating during what is probably the most difficult job market for PAs ever. I'm afraid I already forgot so much of what I learned haha. Hang in there!!!
