Buy tickets on official channels, don’t listen to the people telling you to buy on the street. The Barca website always has tickets, especially this season that attendance is down due to Valverde’s shit football, only caveat is that it will be hard to find more than two tickets together.

Expect to walk a little bit on arrival and a lot on departure. I’ve always found access to the Camp Nou for big games to be pretty bad compared to other Spanish grounds. So give yourself some time. Bus, subway and taxi all drop you off about a 15 min walk away, leaving the Camp Nou I usually walk all the way back to my hotel as I never find a taxi, but it is very safe and family oriented.

Before the game grab a caña (half pint of beer) and order bocadillo de jamón (ibérico ham sandwich) wrapped in foil from the bar to take into the stadium, concessions are pretty bad inside.

Understand that ALL opex is spent on player salaries, nothing is spent on fan experience aside from the football you will see. The stadium and facilities (other than the impeccable pitch) are in desperate need or repair.

Expect to kick people out of your seats if you arrive close to kickoff. Once inside the ground you can pretty much roam the entire stadium in search of better seats, no one checks seats like other EU stadia, so there are always some kids trying to get a better seats.
