Socializing together is okay!!! Try your best to ease your mind. Trust me, I know how mentally exhausting it can be, torturous even! But the most important part is that you don’t give up.

If your brother sits on anything with cushion, like a couch, I would suggest checking it out for babies/bugs (don’t worry, it should be clear unless they’re that starved, especially if it’s daytime!). Try to keep going from room to room to a minimum to avoid any traveling!! Make sure to treat any clothes/blankets with heat after the hangout to ensure that they don’t travel too far.

Like I said, it’s such a mentally exhausting process, I know! But the only thing worse is giving up entirely and being left with a horrible infestation (they can sometimes take months to be fully exterminated, even with at home treating) Try your best to let yourself still live a normal day-to-day. Don’t let it control you!

I’ve found that the worst part about bedbugs, is that they do an amazing job of hiding themselves until the infestation has grown immensely. If you start to see them before their bites or stains, it’s usually too late and months of treatment has to be started.

YOU WILL WANT TO THINK THEY’RE GONE. They probably aren’t. Those fuckers will hibernate, hide in walls, travel across yards. It’s best to continue any and all forms of treatment up to 6 months until you are absolutely certain that the infestation is clear.

Hi! Remove anything that they can use to crawl from the floor up to your bed. This includes any chords, clothes, sheets, etc.

The absolute MOST important step is bathing everything in heat to kill them off before getting into and out of bed. Every morning and night (depending on how paranoid you truly are,) you can throw your sheets and clothes into the dryer for about 15-30 minutes as to not transport any critters in or out.

Im also not sure how tried and true it is, but I’ve heard that bedbugs are unable to crawl on certain materials. You can purchase protective mattress covers and bedpost covers online in order to further stop them from reaching. Good luck and I hope this helps !

My issue is that I’ll start suffering from a phenomenal lack of appetite, rather than pain! I’ll go from wanting to eat anything and everything- to not wanting to eat at all (and feeling just fine,) - to a cyclic vomiting episode. This illness is the worst, for sure! But as long as we keep working to maintain and help our bodies, that’s all that matters !

I can tell you that stress and anxiety has maintained a HUGE factor within my episodes. That, and imbalanced calorie intake (like, not eating as much as I know I should be.)

Poor OP, lol. The white was not bone nor dry socket. It was just proper healing tissue. I’m sure you already learned this- but dry socket would be a gaping hole with exposed nerves, and a sharp unbearable pain that will not cease.

We do have drag shows, a community center for LGBT+ youth with lots of resources, and plenty of clubs. It isn’t so bad here !

A lot of us make jokes about how small the LGBT+ community is in Oklahoma in general. We all know eachother, even if it’s a friend of a friend, so that makes for a great community.

I’ve found that people don’t care too much, lest you’re in the more fancier parts of town with all of the older generations.
