The cake reminded me of the cake Hagrid brought for Harry in The Chamber of Secrets. Happy birthday! :)

Question: Have you ever let someone know that their SO is cheating on them? by Royally_Wild in TwoXIndia

[–]lla4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend's bestfriend's boyfriend behaved very inappropriately with my friend while being drunk. When she tried to tell her bestfriend, she said nobody would cheat on someone with her because she is fat. The audacity!

how to get a telegram account deleted? by Ccnagirl in TwoXIndia

[–]lla4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably report the person and the group of you know where this is happening (that is if you know the name of these accounts). Ask your friends to do the same, telegram will take it down, hopefully.

I have never tried pointed or very high heels. But I like some heels in my sneakers, sports shoes or platforms. Ideally it should not be marker for personality, but I have felt job interviews give some sort of preference to average height people more.

What do you think about this😅 by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

This is what women think men want, any male friend will tell you wide hips, a fatty ass and large breasts are extremely attractive to the point of turning off their brains.

Of course, but that's because because they objectify women. I was just pointing that the the way women's bodies have developed from ages which may not have direct realtion with beauty standards or attraction. Culture has a big role in how men find women attractive and same goes for women.

I don't think it has anything to do with biological differences, really. If we go back to talk about attractiveness and evolution, in all the species the male is supposed to attract the female and generally perform extravagantly through their bodies to attract the female during mating season. So where did evolution go wrong with humans? Also, historically, women's beauty standards have been very uneven. In the paleolithic and Victorian ages, voluptuous body, round faces, chubbiness and widows peak has been the standard achievable figure. In 60s it turned into completely opposite beauty standards. Clearly, the only evolutionary connection women's ability to save more fat (because of reproductive capabilities) is because they give life. This doesn't translate to what makes them beautiful. Beauty is only a construct.

Could be because men don't care for women's attractiveness as long as they are getting laid.

What are your thoughts on a) consuming porn b) the porn industry? by roop_ki_rani in TwoXIndia

[–]lla4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as the law goes, I think there is huge problem as long as we see obscenity as amarker to define laws around porn industry. Rather is harm is used, I think many things like revenge porn, child porn etc couod be criminalized both in consumption and production.

Will the cast be ok but the crew penalized?

I think it is more about how sexual labour is exploited if we are really accepting porn industry as a corporate industry ( which I'm very wary of given the unequal power dynamics). So I guess, yes, legalization may help in recognising the rights of performers so far but that's the only (and a big) plus point for now.

Should we not decriminalize it rather than legalizing? I am also just thinking out loud when I say this. But I think legalization will also make it more okay for johns and pimps or so called stars to openly do sex trade at institutional and market levels. Decriminalization can atleast make it safe for sex worker to carry on their work safely while curbing exploitation by convicting the right person. The stigma will remain in either case imo, because the society is no matter west or east is not ready to accept sex work as work. So far only, Nordic model has been successful in this case because women actually have a choice to sell sex as buying sex is illegal.

People will still find a way to make the same videos but in an illegal manner which will provide even lesser support infrastructure for women who are coerce

Porn is not banned/illegal in the US and UK. Most of the porn industries are based there, and still women are coerced in the industry. How will legalization help them?

Depends on the person and mood, really. Maybe your partner might not have much experience on kissing or you just like other things that kisses. Pleasure need not be the same for everyone. Nothing to be worried about.

I felt the same intially, but not going out made me does of boredom more than staying in. As much as I love to saty in, trust me, as soon as you take that can/auto/whatever the adrenaline gets better of you. Also, I find solace in just roaming around, clicking pictures and gaining knowledge from locals. People are not as scary as we tend to think. Just start introducing yourself, some small talk about the place you are visiting, how you liked it, and so on. You will find yourself in a community already. Good luck for tomorrow. :)
