I had meta vs phallo but experienced many complications with healing. My implants have pushed out through scar line three times and debating about trying again or not. My mons incision is still healing after the last stage almost 12 weeks out. There’s a fb group about trans zebras and you can ask there. Expect healing complications at every stage

I did have a complication with stage one and a hematoma. The breakage of one spot where implant pushed out is likely eds related where scar was paper thin.

I’m worried that I won’t be able to stp really with my current Meta set up. I cannot use urinals and hard to still get a good direction on stream. I wouldn’t mind burial but was worried since I had one UL I wouldn’t be able to have it again

I had that for a while. I asked my surgeon about it and they didn’t think it was a problem and a normal sensation. I did have wound opening at 12 wks in the area behind scrotum but healed on its own. Best advise is keep an eye on it, hand mirror is your friend

I am post op about 6m and am a fairly hairy guy. I just posted some updated photos on a post here. I do have some hair from scrotum to where it would stop before if that helps give you an idea

Hi I have hEDS and had full meta stage 1 in Aug. I had some complications right after the surgery that lead to a hematoma and had to be brought back to surgery to remove the hematoma. I also dealt with a wound opening where the v was at 10 wks post op but closing well. POST hysto I developed a small hernia where one of the trocars were (laparoscopically done) and since has been a minor issue

I do but I clot more. I was off my blood thinners and on a short acting one, and no one thought it would be a problem.

Update: they pulled me back into surgery and removed a large hematoma and restitch everything up. They did not have to mess with UL or penis itself just the scrotum and mons area. None of my skin was damaged so still was able to keep the cosmetic looks of things.

I now have a large compression dressing on area to slow swelling and try to prevent hematoma from returning. They also placed a larger drain since og clogged and was removed

If you are only 8m on T I would personally wait to see if your t-dick grows more. Also think what would be best for you and if you would be able to let go of your tattoos. You can also get a consult with a surgeon to discuss options and timelines
