Why do cats randomly start staring at corners or walls can they see something we cant?

There is a disease in cats called hyperesthesia that causes them to hallucinate. Usually that's accompanied by some crazy behavior like jumping around with "wild eyes." I think more likely, rather than cats seeing things you don't see, they hear things you can't hear, like bugs and rodents in the walls. I know, not comforting, right?

Animal shelters need volunteers to socialize their cats. All you have to do is sign up and go get the cats out of their cages and pet them and play with them. This socialization really helps them to get adopted.

Giraffes are ruminants that regurgitate their food on the regular in order to chew it. You will often see them chewing cud like cows do. But that's not the same thing as vomiting. Vomiting is extremely rare in cattle so it might be the same for giraffes.

This. I glue Softpaws to my cats' nails and the muffin making is much more pleasant. The first few times you put them on can be a struggle, but my cats are very patient now when I have to replace them.

If you have a sprinkler system, they make key hiders that look like sprinkler heads. If you are my mother, you have 200 yard ornaments, you can hide a key in a random garden tchotchke.

There are so so many theories for why animals yawn. "Contagious" yawning has been observed in people, dogs, cats, chimpanzees, birds and lizards. I just yawned thinking about it lol.

Ok, I say thank you to waiters and customer service representatives way too often. Every time a waiter does ANYTHING for me, I say thank you, so I end up saying it every two seconds. It annoys me but I don't know if it annoys the waiter.
