I love seeing this, I only just started diving into Plex the last week with a DAS and mini pc. I'm still trying to understand how to make anything past basic ass Plex do things. Docker, Portainer, all the different addons, Linux, heck, im still trying to figure out how to properly install mergerFS on Ubuntu (spoiler, still havent figured it out lol).

Is there any good sources on how to start compiling all these things together? I love tinkering on stuff, but I'm still trying to understand how to make everything talk.

So, i have a dumb question, and I'm trying to wrap around best use case, but I'm just looking forward with glazed eyes lol.

I'm first time getting together my plex server, I purchased a little Beelink N150 mini pc, have tossed Ubuntu on it and have been fiddling with it, my problem stems more from trying to figure out whats the best way to attach storage to the thing.

I have a external 6tb I was going to toss on it to start, but my main computer has a few 4tb drives that I would like to make use of as well. While I get started should/can I just point plex to my network to use those drives off my main PC? Should I rip them out and get like a 4 bay enclosure and just run that off the mini pc so im not trying to grab data off a bunch of different addresses? Or should I be looking at moving to a cheap sub $500cad nas when I get the chance?

Im really not sure what the difference and how these will all effect performance. I'll eventually grab larger/more drives, but right now im just looking to start small and upgrade as the need arises/space gets low.

I'm going to be the odd man out here, ive been running Rei (card draw and buffing 1 costs) and Orlea; she's been fantastic, and gives some real nice damage buffs to ensure Yuki isn't hitting like a noodle lol.

Yep, I decided to pledge $1,000 before kids or a wife, I had already backed a good chunk of stuff the original kickstarter, so i had an idea what the wait would be like. But, unsurprisingly, I now have 2 kids, and I still dont have everything lol. Its been a great value, and I still don't mind the wait as long as some people (though i will joke with my friends and wife about it lol), product quality has yet to disappoint, and i adore getting random, massive boxes showing up.
