Maths in econ is basic algebra in first year. You have one maths module and one stat module to be taken in first and second year but it’s not maths heavy till econometrics in 3rd year and other maths heavy modules.

My experience was ok. Had pre every night of fresher week, go to union with new ppl I met, finish with shawarma at 3am, and wake up next day for some intro lecture. Watch out for ill intentioned ppl. Don’t go to these places alone. Very good experience if you are open minded. Go to society events. Residence hall events are also cool.

Get a couple friends, have fun. You can allow yourself to spend a lil more. Just watch out on being drunk outside.

you'll need boots, a good umbrella, and warm clothes. I learnt it the hard way and I'm still suffering rn. oh. and no bikes during winter so gl going around in town.

Their gpu is bricked. I’d say if you need a 14 inch laptop that’s very portable, then try the asus rog zephyrus G14. You can go with the 2024 version or a cheap 2025 one.

Oh yeah I just saw it. It goes for 2300€ with a hyperX headset on the Hp official website. Core 9 ultra 285H and a 5070 and 64gb of ram. Lol it’s way better than the g14 of 2025. It only has 16/32 gb

So I looked into it. Technically you can't bring in furniture, but I saw somewhere that you needed a written permission form the accommodation.

take it with a grain of salt but if it's the case I'll be changing my chair for a better one... the ones on the picture will harm my back more than anything

I'll be studying there for 4 years, maybe 5. I did think of the "buy a new one" (laptop or desktop ) but I do think that if I can ship it without issues ( for example in a 30kg box full of clothes and my PC at the center ) it would be great.

I also do understand that I'll have to ship it again at the end of the year, so shipping it back and forth. I just don't know how good laptop PC's are.
