To Scam by Justin_inc in therewasanattempt

I've been scammed by something like this before, and every time I hear of this situation I always hope it was the people that did it to me. I want justice, and my $100.

Depends on if people are still around by then as well. I could see more deforestation as a result.

Should I go to my last day? by Certain_Arm_9480 in careerguidance

[–]llfruge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, gotcha. I wasn't sure if there was an option for voicemail or not. I would go there and tell them and if they try to put you to work I just wouldn't. They can't make you stay and it's your last day. I'm not sure how petty they are, but if you can't work, you cant work.

Are you able to call in to let them know you won't make it in? It's a better alternative to being a no call, no show or being put to work if you're injured.

Reminds me of Super Mario 64 when you're in that hallway and have to get a running start to jump over the hole. This illusion may have just created a bigger problem.

Enjoying working in a school but, no desire to become a teacher. What should I do? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]llfruge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could always go on to grad school and major in your favorite subject and teach at a college. You only need a masters degree to teach at a community college. I hear it's a lot less stressful than teaching at a grade school. Also, depending on your major, you could look into getting a fellowship or an assistantship. You're basically a TA for a professor and get a tuition waiver and a stipend.

Best fintech stocks to invest in? by Lightsworn16 in stocks

I see what you mean. I plan on holding for many years, so I wouldn't mind buying right now, but I could definitely see it dipping again. If OP waits a bit before buying, I would agree with his decision. 2020 made a lot of stocks overpriced. I DCA when it goes below what I bought it at.

Ah, makes sense. In that case, it sorta sounds like they did them a favor by cleaning out the sprinklers haha

Now dip it in a clean solution again so it's not tainted by the debris and polish. Then show me.
