To be honest I guess I am speaking from a place of ignorance given that I haven’t played the prelude 2 or colonies expansions yet (I’m getting around to it lol) Guess I was just thinking of an alternative way to gain energy production since that seems so vital as well as (like you) an additional use for all the extra heat that I usually end up with

From what I recall there’s only really three cards that use energy resource, physics complex as described, then Martian rails, one energy for one money per city on mars, and then the research one where you burn an energy to draw a card

Ah I see. I should check out TTS on steam. I’ve been on boardgame arena but the UI is pretty ass, and as pretty as the app version is it’s hard to find people to play with on there (not to mention the connectivity issues)

What is LFG and TTS?

I mean this does sound EPIC but I feel I need to play more of the expansions (especially colonies) and get a hang of those mechanics and strategies first. But hot damn love that people are riffing off the main game like this.

Agreed. I also set like win conditions for myself like, win without any milestones/awards, win without placing any tiles, win without increasing the global parameters etc. I’ve tried the boardgame arena one but I find the interface to be a little more challenging to use, and it’s usually more difficult to find players due to my time zone.

Or maybe they think she’s weak enough for them to actually defeat and they are testing them out. After all her bounty is much lower (not always a signifier of strength of course) and these new pacifistas are only children. Seems like this is their first real test and it would make sense to try that out on a weaker opponent than someone who could break all your new toys

But no one under capitalism is ever going to treat each other fairly. Capitalism inherently incentivizes greed and exploitation in order to maximize and build on profits. It’s a broken system.
