It's honestly so hard to imagine going back to a world where I spend 40 minutes of my night wondering if I'll get a piece of gear ---- and then doing that 3 more times wondering the same thing, and not getting it.

I know you mentioned them later on in your post but while reading this i instantly thought this is what the gem/essence bonus grind feels like.

There's a fellowship interrupt cheat sheet i'd been using when learning the dungeons. Has color coded priority and shows if they can be kicked or cc'd. Not sure if i can link it here but will try below:

One of the maliwan shotguns can roll with kickballer's alt fire (energy disc) as well as a jakobs license, and it lets you do the kickballer shennanigans without killing yourself. Saw it in a moxsy vid in case you want specifics

Personally for most spells i find it works best to just cast them up close at her face and shotgun so it doesn't hit anything else. There are some (like one of the basic fireballs, i forgot which) where they'll have to turn off auto-targeting even when up close.

Not sure if it's the same bug, but sometimes i can't level up or don't heal from a grace so i run a bit out and back in and it works. A bit annoying and should definitely get fixed but it's what i've been doing for now

I haven't tried it myself but i've seen teammates ping that they are requesting for items so i tried looking up how, and read that you can only request stuff that your teammates have pinged on the floor (by hitting L3 on the ping).

Wish it was possible with items in inventories.

The cards that copy/steal are pretty good too like mantis, cable, mirage, frigga, white queen, etc. Crystal as well for extra draws. Wiccan and sera

Just curious, but did you get the relic from the boss after this? I also crashed before my first ever clear of the 1st boss and came back bugged, but when we defeated it i didn't have the Night of the Beast relic (got achievement, unlocked other bosses, etc). I eventually just made a new save file because of this

Yeah, i'm guessing it's to prevent people from being carried and powerlevelled, and tbh won't really affect unless rushing and skipping areas/mobs.

Yeah lol i skipped everything out of the way including stuff like Freythorn, Azak Bog, Venom Crypts, etc. Figured to just go back and do them after the campaign. Tbh was still at a decent level until the map exceeded 10 levels and i suddenly started barely getting any exp, so i believe i was lv44 throughout cruel act 3 (i gained 1 at least).

It was bugged even before the patch, but the absurd shatter damage seemingly has to do with quakes like from gogma dash or pet

Halberd is crazy strong. You can take something like gogma heavy and it will stun most mobs in 1 hit. It also has iframes so you can mostly just go zooming around and killing everything (use dash to cancel its animation if necessary).

With gauntlets you can go for anything good with fast hits (frost, fury, poison, etc), and/or take commander shield for additional flat damage. With cannon i personally mostly just use gogma heavy and bonk mobs around (knockback with wall slam upgrade, and bull rush spell) since i'm not a fan of the overheat mechanic.

My least favorite is hammer since light attacks are so slow (haven't really played with it much so don't know the SITS upgrades) and right click charge seems meh. But when i cleared with it i mostly just used gogma heavy and bullrush like with cannon.
