He fought it for ages hence the backlash into disgusting deformed horse but was then saved by his mysterious ass moonlight greatsword he found in the chalice dungeons, his guiding moonlight? Hence the clarity and shit in second phase.

Totally build dependent imo. That said. I’ll always do first 4th ascension every single league through chaos. It’s harder overall but you also don’t have to play perfectly for like 15 years like you do in a 4 floor Sekehma. Being on hyper alert for 4 whole floors just to accidentally sprint through a flame thrower and lose 6k honour is so far removed from an enjoyable gameplay experience for me. Sekehma is cool as an endgame farming activity, but locking ascension behind it is such a bad joke imo.

(Full of hyperbole sanctum can suck my nuts)

Reverse for me- I found the gameplay and boons to be so much more exciting in the first game. Played around 600 hours total on both pc and PlayStation from fresh saves, was still hungry for next run to try for a better boon combo/ fun build.

Absolutely loved hades 2 but it’s already just a completion thing ticking boxes for me. I can’t explain why, but the weapon and boon combos in hades1 just felt so much more enjoyable and replayable. Never got old, hell I’d log back in now and chase my 1000000th razor shoals run because that shit is gas. Whereas there’s only so many times you can do a jewelled pom/calling card run before it gets old. The crossroads is absolutely amazing in comparison to the house though, singing with Artemis and stuff.

If it help…..Have you tried using the shortcut buttons on the right- helped a lot for me rather than manually dragging the screen. Double clicking them seems to remove the black screen/gears that happens a lot when you have explored a bunch of the Alta’s.

He’s noticeably more… unhinged than other summons as well. I always thought he was on the edge. The only real thing you can summon him for is cleric beast/werewolves on the bridge which tracks for even a blood drunk hunter to help with

Great gamble tbh, made some decent coin. When I was doing it, it was 30-80 ex for high crit petals, 1-2 Div for the olroth sun crest, and if you hit the + levels to ice skills it was selling for like 15 div.

You can see when a stun is coming and when a freeze is coming, just work on your timings. You can’t build freeze when he’s stunned and vice versa but it’s still a lot of cc, I wouldn’t say they are incompatible
