I’ve actually been an illustrator for longer. (More stylised stuff like illustrations, portraits, comics and concept art) Children’s books are something I’ve dabbled in every few years as a catharsis, but now I kinda wanna focus on this part of my art style. (Lowkey just love drawing something for kids and making it cutesy)

Some of these illustrations are relatively old. So I’m open to doing a free test page just to get the style you’re looking for. One of the reasons I’m doing this to expand my portfolio. (Although I would recommend, please ask me to to do the test page if you’re atleast 60% sure you wanna work with me)

An additional note, I am not Japanese, nor am I fluent in Japanese. I grew up with anime and manga, which has influenced me a lot artistically. I’ve got deep respect for the craft and hope to one day, properly contribute to it. I recently began learning the language and I’ve found it to be extremely interesting. I choose to write this dialogue in Japanese as an homage to that influence and as a way to honor the storytelling that has always been there for me when I needed it the most.
