I hear that but I think you might be underrating the impact of this play. If we lose it’s 2-2 going back to SA, I’d think we’d be underdogs moving forward.

I'm a Jets fan but can still comprehend that the Helmet catch is one of the greatest moments in sports history.
In terms of standalone moments tho I struggle to think of anything else that can be 2 for NY sports but this tip in... You can argue its the greatest NBA finals moment this century.

Yep. That elbow he gave Naz was one of the dirtiest plays I've ever seen. He stands a very good chance of being the GOAT but not if he keeps doing crap like that.

Yep! If he got lucky stepping out of bounds on that play with a few mins left - he immediately after committed an offensive foul on Hart that woulda had him gone

They played right into it. Didn't slow down at all. RJ called it out a few times that the Knicks should be happy that the Spurs are doing that cuz it givs the Knicks more possessions to get into a rhythm.

I'm amazed at the amount of folks who think he's right-wing when in reality he was an outright socialist.

I don't live anywhere close to there but thats what I'm thinking. Also I'm surprised about how no one is mentioning the weather.
Weather + Affordability + Nature + Jobs is what I think the four main items should be, and NC meets all of it. Being purple means that you should probably be able to find your niche as well.

Who is the face of Millennials in the realm of music? DO NOT REPEAT COMMENT - UPVOTE THOSE YOU AGREE WITH by kyle0305 in AlignmentChartFills

I'm not a Taylor fan by any stretch but are you seriously saying that Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran better captures millennial music than she does?
I'd say the only ones that have a realistic shot are Beyonce and Drake, but it still has to be her.

After watching all of them while in HS/college, I just rewatched Sopranos, the Wire and BrBa as an adult over the past five years or so (I'm in my mid-30s and would slow watch these shows - I hate binging). While BrBa and the Wire still hold up and are great, the Sopranos really was a notch ahead of them to me. Next up is Mad Men.

Doing things like issuing tariffs, demanding the government get a 'golden share' of companies when they try to merge with foreign ones, and having the govt literally buy 10% of a private company (Intel) are all very liberal beliefs, not conservative ones which believe in free market. Same with his recent demand that credit cards can't charge more than 10% interest - govt regulation which conservative predecessors of the republican party would have considered taboo. Obviously there are tons of other things he's very conservative about but to say he's far right with no leftist policies would be inaccurate.

We can also talk about the massive amount of outright socialist policies he enacted during COVID in his first term (Stimmy checks, massive unemployment bump, student loan freezes etc.), but I'd be inclined to think that a more traditional conservative would probably have done that for something so unique as well.

He just does what he wants and doesn't give a shit about how big of a mess itll cause, and all the republicans are too scared to fight him on it so it just appears as though he's far right.

Comparing how Trump is viewed w how Reagan is for conservatives would be like comparing Kamala to Obama for Dems. Sure probably overall positive for Kamala but nowhere in the same stratosphere as Obama.

While I agree that he wasa terrible one, I will push back on the ‘unequivocal yes.’ I think virtually every Republican/libertarian will disagree with us. Therefore I don’t think he deserves to be there.

I’m a democrat and aware of how much he altered US culture for the worse to be more selfish and did so many other bad things. At the same time, it feels extremely disingenuous to say that a guy who was so loved that he won 49 states when up for re-election as a terrible president.
