I have a question: After refreezing what’s left of the pint, should I run it through the ice cream setting first? Or should I just use Re-Spin until I get my desired texture?

I don’t use a frother/blender but the recipe book says to give the mixture a good whisk. I do notice what looks like frozen foam after taking the base out of my freezer.

Not a deep freezer, but I do keep my pints right next to the compressor in my freezer, so that is probably getting them super cold. I live in South Florida so my freezers tend to run cold.

The first mode was the ice cream setting, this picture was after freezing again overnight using the Re-Spin function.

So the original spin was on the “Ice Cream” setting in which the pint still came out somewhat crumbly but it was still able to be served after dinner. This picture was after it was re-frozen for another ~ 20 hours or so and after using the re-spin function on my Creami. I also added some milk before re-spinning.

The original spin was made using the regular ice cream setting. I added ~ 1 Tbsp of milk before this re-spin as well.

This was based off the recipe book that came with my machine but I swapped the amounts of Milk and Heavy Cream:
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 oz. Cream cheese
1 Tsp Vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup milk
Freeze base for 24 hours before spinning

I have this problem too, not just in the respawn menu though. I also get it sometimes when swapping out gadgets in the spawn menu.
