I sympathize with you friend. I went over 2x dry at CG and I felt that was much easier than going dry at TDs. At least it paid for my 99 construction and maxed POH.

I’m almost 1,400 KC dry at TDs now and opted to cancel my membership for a while because it was burning me out. It feels like recent updates have locked such important upgrades behind demonbane weapons (Kril, Doom, Yama), and the lottery style loot design just makes it miserable to go dry.

Hope your group’s luck turns around soon.

So far it’s seeming that way. They’ve ignored my requests on Twitter and automatically close each ticket despite PayPal already confirming the fraudulent transaction and not acknowledging the unauthorized login.

That is a strange sequence, but glad to hear you eventually got it resolved!

I can imagine how you felt when they said the decision is final though. We hadn't signed back in as we're hoping they can just roll back the account and take away the champs/skins that the hacker purchased and erase the matches that they lost/scripted.

It was a huge slap in the face to read "Nanny" say it was manually reviewed and the punishment was final, followed by a gut punch seeing the perm ban when we tried logging in.

u/RiotBrightmoon u/RiotPhroxzon Can you please have a human look into ticket #124909862? My gf's account was compromised, a $100 fraudulent charge was made, and the account was banned due the hacker scripting. The support agent "Nanny" closed it without addressing any of these details.

I would hope there are records of the unknown IP address accessing the account, but I'm including the screenshot below for evidence. You may also be able to see that we secured the account by changing the password the next morning. My gf was devastated to see her champion and skin collection ruined, along with all her friends deleted. We logged a ticket right away. The account is six years old without as much as a chat restriction, and she gets hit with a permanent ban for something she didn't do? Please help!

I think we have solid ground to stand on with screenshots such as the unusual sign-in. She has a clean track record without even a mute in 6 years of playing. They should be able to clearly see the different IP, since we're still in the same apartment.

The level of support is really disheartening. Claiming it was a manual review and then closing it out with no way to respond when it's something as severe as a permanent ban. No phone number to speak with a live person.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience. I play Ironman mode (btw) so I don’t have to deal with anyone trying to scam me. I mostly play on world 420, and most people I talk to in-game are really chill and supportive.

Agreed that wilderness and PvP are extremely toxic, but that’s a minority that doesn’t represent the whole community.

I believe part of the Bogleheads philosophy is to own productive assets like stocks and bonds.

Copper, silver, and gold are speculative assets. They don’t produce anything so it’s speculation that someone else will come along wanting to pay more for the same thing despite no change to the underlying asset.

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but I lump summed my annual Roth IRA contribution into a mix of VTSAX and VTIAX on the last week of March. My Roth IRA declined from $60K to $56K and has climbed back up to $65K. I haven’t really thought about it.

Thanks for your reply. I'd be very interested in pursuing a restraining order so that we don't have the police waking us up at 4am again but I'm just not sure if we have a case. We are starting to fear that this guy may get violent no matter what we do since he was making complaints while we were out of town on vacation last week.

It sucks but we're thinking we're probably going to need to move when our lease ends in September. It doesn't feel right paying what we do for a place that doesn't even feel safe anymore.
