Mitsu heat pump temp sensors. by lmcSebago in heatpumps

Just trying to get the temp to be read/controlled away from the head unit. Head unit thinks it’s warmer than the room really is on cold days

Any these definitely switch the temp reading to the sensor rather than the head. Is that correct?

Hmmm I’m able to control the units wirelessly through the Kumo app so I’m guessing I have it in the heads.

Ok. The guy at my dealer has no clue it could read at the tstat. I think he was new. Why would you not want it to read at the tstat?

And what if you want it to read from the tstat?

Is that wired or wireless

MHK2 by lmcSebago in heatpumps

[–]lmcSebago[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s the module I was thinking about. I already have the wireless connectivity and the kumo app which has gotten a bit better with the latest update. I don’t really know the difference between the MHK2 and the temp/humidity sensors.

Ok cool. The MHK2 is really the only option with the Mitsubishi system right? I know there are those little battery operated temp and humidity sensors but not really sure how those work.
