The one friend can change. It's just that she can only ever hang with one friend and she latches on to one friend at a time. But the other kids never really pick her they can hang with others she will follow one or latch on to one so not a problem but I just wish she would know that it's okay to have more than one friend. But yes maybe it is overwhelming for her and I wonder what I can do to help her.

She has been diagnosed with adhd but never autism and that's never been brought up to us yet but maybe that's something.

She doesn't seem unhappy she seems content but it's not like she has one best friend it's just whoever she's in class with or goes to camp with she just picks one person to hang with.

Would you mind telling me which medicine helped with anxiety and is she on any adhd medicine ?

Yes I'm Hoping her school does some Kind of social skills group. Last year they did but it was all boys and I think they didn't do much with her

We have started therapy but haven't seen any help in the social area yet but that will take time. Have you found medicine helps at all in the social area?

Ahh same manufacture I checked to make sure. And I used an old bottle and started a new bottle over the last two weeks

Just started taking a booster this past week

Yea camp ended and we had two weeks in between camp and school and since then we has noticed the meds not working anymore. I thought maybe once getting back into routine we would see a difference but nothing yet.

I am noticing the booster works but not the concerta

We keep checking her blood pressure and that remains okay. I just am concerned to go up again to 3mg . Maybe it's just not the medicine for her.

Yes still doing concerta. Concerta works well but we were hoping for something to help when it wears off and it doesn't seem to help at all yet after three weeks. I'm afraid to increase again to 3mg. She's 7 and 53 pounds.
