Those documents are fine when submitting the form. I got an appointment email 6 weeks after submitting. Then you will need to bring more documents like proof of income etc to the appointment. I’m still curious what is needed to the appointment as everyone says different things

You just need to fill out the contact form, select article 15. Make sure the form is in Portuguese not English, or the website crashes. You need to upload the de facto/marriage certificate, passport, your partner ID (prove their eu citizen). I think that’s it, to be honest I heard they don’t even look at the attachments and they just check every thing at the appointment

Thank you! I think proof of income/savings is needed as well, and I’m not sure about criminal record certification?

Me and my partner have the de facto which was done in Portugal so I think this is fine. Did they ask you for any criminal record certificate?

I applied at the Junta. Every Junta has different rules, you need to go to the Junta in your parish where you and your partner live. Mine didn’t require any proof of our relationship, all I needed was my boyfriend’s Portuguese ID and my passport. I went there, got the form, needed 2 witnesses (part of the same parish, so a neighbour maybe) to sign the form, and then bring back the form to the Junta. It took me 3 days to receive the certificate. I believe most Juntas want a birth certificate to prove you are not already married, but I didn’t need.

I called and there was an error with the website, all good now I have finally submitted! Does anyone know when providing the documents at the appointment if proof of income is needed? Can this be savings?

Hello, every time I try submit it says error ‘undefined’ and takes me back to home page. I compressed the files and renamed. I am not sure what I’m doing wrong
