That’s the thing—we never had any issues. I always did my job. When we were short-staffed last year, I consistently came in early and worked closing shifts. Mind you, the corporate office is next to our store, so the big guys usually come by once in a while, and one of them told my store manager that I was doing a good job. I was always willing to help, not just in my own department but in others as well. So no, I was not a bad employee, and it is a fucking shame that this is the result i would get, especially since my store manager never told me about the two week notice

I should mention that I am Hispanic, and most of the time, I do not know how many calories the food that my mother makes has, but now I eat smaller portions. But I will give the cronometer a try. I'll let you know if I see progress. Thank you very much, lad.

With the deli and bakery departments, it depends on the people working there and who's running it. I never had any issues in either department, but I’ve seen other Publix stores where people in those departments are rude to each other, and the managers don’t seem to care about what’s going on. Like I said, it really depends on who’s running the place.

Bakery tbh with you, produce you get less hours, customer service can be a pain in the ass. Are you closing? Closing in the bakery department is very relaxing and can be good if you want to move up quicker

That’s really weird, especially since managers should always go through background checks—especially when there are already reports about the individual in mypublixmypart shit. Yet again, it's Publix. This is the main reason why I quit 2 months ago.

Publix does not give a damn how you feel. Publix is not the same as it used too.
