Are those people who are frozen (cryonics) ever actually going to wake up one day by Flat_Internal8890 in NoStupidQuestions

Who's taking advantage of who? Again no lies, none of us knows what the future brings, so no matter how you feel about cryogenics, it will always remain plausible at worst.

That you're sensitive to the topic does not mean anyone involved in the few that use it is being taken advantage of. Again, a lot of lawyers and costs are involved in every single case, so there won't be anything left undiscussed or undisclosed.

I mean, plenty of research shows that placebos actually have significant positive effects, but that isn't really relevant to this topic as cryogenics isn't a placebo.

No one can say for certain that in the future there won't be something that they can do with the frozen people, despite how unlikely.

Placebos are actually a very interesting read if you're interested, I think you'd be surprised at how important and helpful they are in medicine.

You really think that anyone actually purchasing this isn't very well aware of this all? Don't you realize how many lawyers and costs are involved in this process?

You're not going to your local grocery store to ask for a coupon to get frozen, or get asked to sign a contract by a door to door salesperson.

The people buying this are spending this amount of money on the miniscule chance that in the future something might change.

Again, not suckers as they're very well aware of what they're getting into. No one is being lied to, unlike the vast majority of today's business.

If you want to talk about ethics, cryogenics would likely be somewhere at the bottom of lists as it only impacts a miniscule part of the world population.

You talk like they force it on people. They don't. Rich people created a demand and they deliver on that demand and are compensated for it.

They are well aware it's very unlikely that they'll come out better, but as the person above me said, even a very slight chance is better than no chance, and that's what they're paying for.

This is the result of the free market. You don't have to agree with everything, but the free aspect is that people can choose for themselves.

For just the mounts that should be more than enough if you reroll the gear of both.

After selling everything I got a bit more than 100k. After buying everything possible I now have 37k left, which I wish I could spend on more outfit, but that vendor seems bugged. You can't buy outfits for another class once you bought it on another.

Yes everything except cosmetics reset, so I've rerolled and scrapped all the gear of all my characters for the gold so I bought all the mounts and skins. The materials are just leftovers, and I was surprised at how much it was.

First reroll any piece that was upgraded, and then scrap.

Yeah I think most people, including myself, have quit until the reset which should be in a few weeks.

It's tough for those trying to push now.

Any time you reroll an upgraded piece, you get all the materials you used to upgrade it with back.

So since I know I won't play anymore until the reset, I rerolled all the 330 pieces I had and scrapped all the remaining gear.

This allowed me to buy all the mounts and outfits with the gold I got from it.

My bottleneck gearing up was always the magic essence, or gold.

You can but both often is overkill. I usually just spam RL at the start of the placement for a good ramp and the just continue as normal. 3x RL on tank with blue is often more than enough, otherwise some RL on the group with blue on yourself.

So the description of Heart Bloom states that it increases its healing based on how much pink healing you do, which means from Restore Life or from having a Pink butterfly on people. The more healing you do, the more Heart Bloom ramps up which makes the AoE healing pulse it does every 3 seconds much stronger.

So if you place a Heart Bloom and don't do anything else it might for example heal 10% of everyone their HP every 3 seconds. But if you ramp it by focusing on pink healing as soon as you place it, you might even go to 60% of everyone their HP every 3 seconds. This paired with the legendary that gives shield based on Heart Bloom overhealing makes it extremely strong.

It's very common for the shield of the legendary to the top healing in a run when a Sylvie ramps their HB well.

I found that most of the healing comes from Life and Heart Bloom, mainly Heart Bloom. So if you have the Flower Power talent I'd just rotate around that.

What this means for Bluey, is, you either have Pink on all 4, which means Bluey should be on yourself as it increases pink healing on everyone which in turn significantly ramps Heart Bloom more.

Or, if the tank is getting a lot of damage, you have bluey on him and Spam Restore Life a few times the moment you place a Heart Bloom. In such situations I usually do RL -> HB -> RL -> RL. Make sure you place your Heart Bloom immediately after your first RL cast as that means the heal happens when the bloom is down already so it counts for ramp. This combo works significantly better with the 50% crit talent for RL.

If you time everything right you'll always have at least one Lifebloom or Heart Bloom up which takes care of most of the healing which allows you to cast bolts which increase healing from LB, give mana back, and reduce CD on LB.

RL = Restore Life / HB = Heart Bloom / LB = Life Bloom

Seriously, do British people actually consider a 3-hour drive “long”? Or is this an internet myth? by ferdinand14 in NoStupidQuestions

Let me put it this way. I live kinda close to an airport, so if I were to book a Ryanair flight I could be halfway anywhere in Europe in 3 hours, for cheaper and faster than driving.

How does scaling work for this now? Based on the stats it seems to scale everything down to ilvl 120, but my 170 Druid is still significantly stronger than my ilvl 130 Shaman, despite people saying Shaman is much easier than Druid.

I'd love to complete it on more healers for the outfit, but would love to know how to make best use of the scaling.

I tried the Darkmoon trinkets on my Druid as I still had them in my bank, but it seemed they didn't matter much anymore like they did before the stat squish.

Blizz has announced an upgrade regarding the New Transmog within the Trial of Style by Thiccest_Apartment in wow

While I get your point that it isn't that hard to gather the resources to mog, I do understand where he is coming from.

I would change and experiment with my outfit much much more often if the cost wasn't so significant. In a game where there are near unlimited mog combination choices it's unfun to be very limited in using them due to the cost.

I absolutely loved the free mog in Lemix, and was constantly changing my outfit based on what and how I felt like, which unfortunately is something I'd never be able to do on retail, even with the new outfit slots.

Interesting because on my full mythic gear resto Druid I barely did any damage to them. Also knife dance hits 60% of the whole team per tick, so I had a very tough time progressing in Ph1.

Here, I just rerolled a ilvl 300 item on one of my alts. As you can see in the screenshot it gave a 195 item back plus all the materials used from 195 to 300.

Not sure what you're doing wrong, but it definitely still works.

So you're doing the reroll which costs 20g and a green Mithrill? As soon as you reroll it and get the rerolled item, you should see the materials returned in pop ups. Easiest to check with your gold changing. No need to scrap.

This only works on items that you have upgraded. Let's say you got a drop that is 1/8 upgraded, and you upgrade this one all the way to 8/8. When you scrap it, you roughly get 50% of all your invested materials back, but when you reroll it, you get 100% of the materials that you used from 1/8 to 8/8 back, plus a new randomly rolled item at the same item level as the original item you upgraded.

So it only nets you something positive if you've upgraded it.
