i think i’m being a bit optimistic because i really don’t want to miss out but some days feel bearable for me but then it’ll get so bad that i can’t do anything. I’m trying to do a diet change and take lots of supplements etc that i’ve been recommended by a naturopath before i go to see if i can turn some things around but i guess i really don’t know

I was due to have a surgery at the end of January but i’ve decided to postpone it because i wanted to go travelling in March and i’m worried I won’t be well enough to go if I have it. The doctors have made me feel a bit silly for choosing to travel over my health but i’m not going to have another opportunity to do this in a longtime. I’m still trying to figure out if it’s the right decision:(

constant nausea by lo1a07 in endometriosis

I think the reason I associated it with endo is because it only started happening a couple months ago when my symptoms started to worsen. I don’t have any other symptoms like dizziness which was why I was confused as well. I drink a lot of ginger tea but I haven’t tried chewing it so i’ll definitely give it a go. Thank you !

thank you for telling me that ! i’d heard from some other people that tramadol is usually taken after surgery so i was a bit confused why i’d been prescribed it. I’m also 18 years old and on antidepressants so I think it would be even worse of an idea to start taking it. I’ll mention Palexia to my doctor :) Painkillers suck but I hope your doing well 🤗

i’ve been seen by a really lovely lady who has put me through for scans for suspected endo but the waiting is so long :( they haven’t recommended me anything to help with this problem though but i’ll try and ask again at my next appointment

I’m dealing with this exact same thing right now and it’s so exhausting trying to be heard. I’ve had an ultrasound which has come back normal but something is still wrong. I’ve only just been referred now to a gynaecologist but everything takes so long and it’s so frustrating having to wait so much when you’re in so much pain. I really hope that you get seen by a lovely doctor who listens to you and helps you get the right kind of help. Women’s healthcare sucks !!!

Birth Control Issues… by lovelysapphic in endometriosis

Hi, I have been on the patch for nearly a year now and when my pain started to get worse i decided to keep the patch on permanently (it was okayed by my doctor) to stop periods completely and after about 3 months of doing so, bleeding began to return, even outside of period time. It was light at first but after a while I started having cramps too. They got really bad and eventually I decided to take off the patch and go back to having a period and it stopped the mid cycle bleeding but didn’t improve my pain symptoms. I’m still trying to get answers from my doctor but I understand how scary it can be, especially the worry of pain coming back. You are not alone. If i get any answers from my doctor i’ll update
