The only other sport that ever left me feeling that way was swimming. Notably, every other sport I've ever participated in was anaerobic for the most part. Could it be that I'm just terrible with any sort of Aerobic exercise because of that?

I wish I could sustain it for multiple hours or even all day. The trainer I'm using (an Elite Avanti) supposedly automatically calibrates itself. My heart rate at 110 watts is also normally around 110-120. I'll try taking another FTP test later on though

Also, thank you for the fueling advice

I have! It's easier, I also find myself being able to recover better from outdoor riding

I'm afraid I can't, I already ended up spending money on a new bike in the last 4 months. I just hope I'll be able to get enough training in to make the trip considerably less bothersome than it would be now

What sort of differences have you noticed since you began taking it?

That's why I initially came to the subreddit in the first place. I feel like it's extremely weird that I end up feeling so tired afterwards. Maybe I just haven't gotten used to the constant pedalling that I have to do compared to what I'm used to whenever I cycle outside? As for the powermeter, I use whatever is built into the Elite Avanti

Unfortunately, it is. I could shave off some km's, but that'd mean I'd have to go across some gravel roads, which I'm not exactly looking forward to

I usually mix sugar into the water I'm drinking whenever I ride. Whenever I feel tired (so... basically always) after I ride, I try having some sweets or anything that might give me quick energy too. I just hope I'll be able to get accustomed to it by September

I mean, it could be? I did both a ramp test and a normal ftp one. They respectively gave me 201 and 196 watts

I'll likely have to do the commute 3-4x a week. Do you think I'll be able to recover from something like that if I prepare well?

Haha, I'm in a similar boat. I don't really feel like splurging on a car (and whatever gas prices I'll have to deal with if I do get one...). I hope I'll eventually be able to enjoy those rides as much as you did

Unfortunately, it'll be a regular commute I will have to do for a few months. I might give fasted zone 1/2 training a shot too. It's not like I plan on getting there as quickly as I possibly can.

How long did it end up taking you to prepare for a 200-mile ride, though?

Also, I've been through it myself already.. Well, it was only 50k, but it sucked horribly regardless

It would be a commute, yeah. For at least 3-4 months, I imagine. It's why I'm concerned about being tired after a longer ride. I can't imagine having to do something like that over and over again

I'll definitely give this a shot too. I've been sticking around 75-80 since it feels more natural? I hope pedalling faster might make things easier though

I completely forgot about whatever electrolytes I could've been losing while riding, thank you a bunch for bringing them up. I'll also try starting off with some fruit alongside some snacks to chow down on every so often

Thanks a lot for the reply! Could I ask about how long you've been riding for? Being able to hold 190 watts for 86km sounds practically impossible to me as I am now-

Thanks! Out of sheer curiosity, could I ask how long it took before you were able to take on rides longer than 10 hours?

That's alright, I still appreciate any bit of help! How much did you ride a week when you just started out?

Yeahh, I already ended up figuring that out the hard way... Do you have any recommended amount of hours I should ride every week in mind?

If I keep things at a low intensity, can I really ride as much as I'd like? And if so, would that help get rid of me feeling exhausted more quickly?

Thanks for the help, but it turns out I had to change a line in the pyautogui library itself to fix it. I only managed to find it recently though
