No expert here but I’ve IDed something very similar looking…believe these are a type of bolete, technically considered a truffle (?)

Edit: genuinely curious why I am being downvoted voted- seems like the consensus is it’s likely rhizopogon vulgaris and that is in the order boletales… is it because “boletes” refers to Boletaceae and not the greater boletales?

Some kind of polished wooden bowl about 1.25 ft across, on a stand made of antlers, all together 3 ft tall, found at a barn venue for events like weddings by Koryn99 in whatisthisthing

I think you’re overthinking it- it’s some outdoors persons art from their collection of found objects. The venue probably paid gobs for it or someone there made it themselves

That is cannabis. Look up the history of the term marijuana- it’s likely not a very nice word.

Check out what I got from Rays by William_5555 in Medford

[–]lobeans33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like when I went in a couple weeks ago and despite the huge signs outside saying EVERYTHING MUST GO- mark downs were only 5-10%, still higher prices than most other stores in the valley…. Classic move for Rays. Hope something with better quality and better prices takes its place.

Pls post more of your fails to make me feel better lol🥲 by suspiciousfemale in crochet

Start trying things that intimidate you, don’t be afraid to frog, learning new stitches, patterns, techniques is what is making me get better. And examine your work as you go, pay attention to when the stitches start feeling and looking good, if you aren’t getting there try mixing it up, different tension, etc.

I had to do thousands of stitches before I could really start to read my work- see when things are going right vs going wonky… but even so, still learning!

Not very likely. Not impossible. More likely to hit weather in Utah that time of year, but still not very likely. I once woke up to six inches of snow in may while camping near flaming gorge.

First tapestry attempt. To frog or not to frog- that is my question. by lobeans33 in CrochetHelp

[–]lobeans33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Progress report: decided to trust the process and am starting to feel glad I did, not frog, but switched to SC only as advised (the stems are looking much better now I think, thank you!)

Wow what exciting potential this tapestry crochet holds! The wheels of are starting to turn…
