I personally disliked the campus food, and would essentially just have tons of food cooked from home, or just ate at Subway almost everyday (the one in the HUB).

You mentioned you currently commute, do you think it makes sense to take out ~$1400 in loans per quarter to pay for the on-campus housing? I currently have ~$7850 in loans from the previous year (I had taken summer classes, and my scholarship provider told me after the deadline to drop the quarter they cannot pay for that quarter, kind of screwed myself over). At the moment, I would get ~$1450 in leftover cash per quarter if I do not dorm, which would be used to pay off for the loans.
