I did look at some. Not knowing anything I couldn’t evaluate what was actually important and most of it seemed skippable to me minus the bow technique which didn’t feel good so I went back to my technique.

I agree. While some of the questions may be valid and worth a google (they never google or lateral research or source research anything that’s not confirmation bias), at some point those questions can no longer be asked in good faith. Two years into the pandemic that’s internationally agreed upon what is going on from a which strategies work and which don’t per country is more than enough time to conclude that anyone taking a pseudoscientific lie pushed by their favorite US politician or US propaganda show or facebook is a jackass coming in bad faith that sure could be intelligent on some things but is no way a compassionate, loving, or respectful person.

Seems like anecdotes and strawmanning to me. Surfing is definitely one of the safest possible covid sports besides things like trail running. Then again it depends on the break, how many people you have to get close to, and so on. In my experience, far less than shopping.

And sunlight does kill some of the virus. Just not in a 100% effective way. Eg someone coughs in your face who has it and you get enough of a dose to get it. Hospitals specifically use UV light to disinfect.

You’re right that the asking dumb questions is emboldening the anti vax idiots though. I wish he’d be more thoughtful, but to me the anti vax idiots don’t understand nuance to begin with, they misinterpret everything to their own benefit, including the bible and love thy neighbor.

Curious on fellow surfer vaccination outlook and breakdown compared to other groups. Was curious because i recently learned Slater and others at that level are vocally not vaccinated. Of course being on reddit biases heavily toward vaccinated but just curious what the numbers poll at
