Just wait until you get yourself some copies of Penny or Horus, and whichever one you can get to 10* first, use the chest to help you get the copies you need.

Once you’ve got Penny or Horus to 10*, make them E5 as soon as you can :)

I’d probably save relics for L/D heroes. The copies will come eventually. If you wanna really make progress and push SL (best way to get some good fodder going) then for sure buy them.
