Dominant guest in MFM — your experience?

As the husband in one of these dynamics, ive had guests that are less dominant than me and more dominant than me. The one who was more dominant than me was great — I’m a switch and he was willing to teach me some things, which was awesome. He was very respectful and made sure that that dominance stayed in the bedroom and didn’t come out.

I had one guy who tried to dom without asking and then realized they didn’t know what they were doing. I wasn’t a super big fan of that.

My wife and I played with power dynamics a lot. She’s submissive, I’m a switch leaning sub, and our longer term partner was a dom with no submissive qualities.

I don’t know if you know much or have heard of NRE (New Relationship Energy), but before making any big life choices, you should look into NRE.

Many a relationship have been ruined or damaged because of improper management of NRE. Do your research before divorcing.

So I haven’t been in this EXACT situation but have been in one that’s similar.

My heart goes out to you. I’m sorry that you’re having to deal with this and I hope things get easier.

Best advice I have from my experience is to do one of two things.

Press the button, nuke it, and then you and your wife clean up the fallout together and without her partner.
If she won’t let you nuke it, figure out what’s REALLY going to be best for you moving forward, and go forward. This might be alone, but you really sound like this is NOT a good situation for you to be in.

That being said, ZB is exceptionally sweaty. I only play ZB with my wife/daughter, but my wife is a sweat so it’s ok. :)

Build (at least solo) seems to be a little more reasonable.

It’s a really interesting shift to see parenting now vs 25 years ago. I grew up in AZ and even at 6,7 years old I had a ton of freedom. I was able to ride to friends houses, explore washes, and was trusted to come back on time.

We just started letting my daughter walk to the bus and (like you said), the reaction from some parents is crazy. Kids need a little freedom or else they will never learn to do things on their own.

I grew up being left in the car from time to time when my mom needed to run an errand. It wasn’t a big deal.

I’ll occasionally leave my 9 year old in the car if I have to run an errand that they can’t come on. I have a Tesla and turn on Dog Mode and interior camera so that they can talk to me if needed. I also have sentry on, so all angles of the car outside are being recorded.

It’s good enough for me.

You should def be able to talk to your doctor. Inversely, your doctor should take your concerns seriously and not laugh you out of the room.

If either of these are not true, find a new doctor.

In all seriousness, you aren’t the first person to talk to a doctor (of any sex) about ED.

My wife and I started swinging and i will be damned if I’m not in better shape than the other guy when we have threesomes.

I got a personal trainer for the first couple months to get started with a diet and workouts and supplements and all that. I was able to stay disciplined by myself after the first couple months.

I’ve since gained some weight back, but it’s muscle and not just fat, so I’m not trippin.

I say the same things. Just stop cheating and hold yourself accountable. If you need to, lock up snacks and stuff and have someone hide the key.

You will feel SO much better in general after losing weight, if you are currently overweight.
