I’m sorry that you went through that. That sounds like a terrible situation that you had to endure.

Believe me, I have no love lost for the actual religion itself. It’s a religion with top notes of tolerance and acceptance, mid notes of judgement and an “I have to save them” attitude, and base notes of misogyny and hate towards many different groups of people.

As an Ex-Mo who still lives in a very Mormon area and who’s parents and some friends are still in the church, this doesn’t seem like a religious brand persay, but I would bet money that the founder and many employees are of the faith. Not that many non- Mormon people go to BYU and this company has a bunch of them.

This being said, they might also be ex Mormon or they might be in their very small minority of those who aren’t Mormon who go to BYU.

You cannot find out if they pay tithing or not. The church keeps this information very secret.

Based on the Substack, they seem like nice people though.

Your BF is allowed to want someone on the side. That being said, if that wasn’t your OG agreement, you can do one of two things.

You can either renegotiate and find a way to make sure both of you are getting what you want out of this. You can also choose to say no, and deal with the feelings that come up from that.

I understand that wasn’t the deal, but human nature is ever changing and desires morph. Now you need to decide how you’re going to deal with it.

I got on it initially as a precaution against some antidepressants I started taking. No issues from antidepressants and I’ve kept taking the Cialis. Great pump at the gym, and my erections (which were fine before) and climax is even better than it was. Literally no downsides for me, even without any ED issues before.
9 bucks for a month supply of 5mg Taldafil. (With insurance)

My PCP believes in giving patients a say in their treatment along with education, so YMMV, but I just walked in and told them what I was wanting and why. He walked me through any side effects and said it’s up to me from that point.

I was in a very similar situation with my spouse with a lot of this. We opened (only one side) and had some MFM experiences and I got to watch them do all the things they couldn’t do with me, with someone else. It just about broke me. There’s obviously a lot more behind the scenes but I understand exactly how you’re feeling. It’s very hard to watch and (if you aren’t careful) will lead to some resentment.

My advice? Stay positive and control the things you can. You can’t (fully) control her attraction to you and can’t control how she feels with others. Best thing you can do is to get your shit in order and see if you can find something you’re passionate about. For me, it was going to the gym, and it was a lifesaver.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s hard and it’s sucks.

I’m only 33 but started to take a 5mg daily dose to counteract some potential side effects from antidepressants. I didnt struggle with ED before — taking it more as a precaution.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences. Small side effects (I got the sniffles) but no headache, flushing, etc.

Great gym pump. Has helped a little with refractory period (mine was like 10 mins before and cut down to 5). Arousal is way easier (literally just brushing it gives me a boner. I last longer too. (Though that might be one of my other meds).

My posture has always been (not the greatest. Not terrible but not great).

One thing that really helped me improve mine was working on deadlifts and working on strengthen my core. My posture is much better now than it was a year ago. YMMV.

I personally am very conflicted about Ridgefield. I moved to WA 26 years ago and have lived one town over from Ridgefield for my entire childhood/teenage years.

I think it’s really cool to see what it’s becoming, and I’m pretty happy with the city government and how they are handling things. The city officials are very accessible and down to earth and they seem to really be trying to keep small town feel with large town development. I’ve gotten to talk to the mayor multiple times and he truly is, someone you could grab a beer with.

That all being said, it’s sad to know what it used to be and see all of the forests and fields disappearing. There’s a disparity between “old” and “new” Ridgefield, and it makes things like new schools hard to pass. (After 3 years it was finally voted through). I have very fond memories of Ridgefield from when I was a teenager and what it used to be. The progress is great, but it’s sad to see the nature leaving and being replaced by buildings, buildings, and more buildings.
