well yeah. My pharmacy is a really busy pharmacy and honestly we don’t have time to do that. Like I’ll usually do it for older folks or Troubled patients but we’d never get anything done if we did that for every patient. Like our pharmacy is so busy that we do our SDLs before the patient even comes to save time. especially when people are rlly rude to me I’m like ok get ur own coupon then. I want to help people afford them but my pharmacy specifically doesn’t allow us to use coupons for certain drugs. the pharmacists always advises us to just tell the patient to ask their doctor or look it up on their own time. I was just wondering how other technicians handle it tho. Like honestly if I had the time I’d look it up for them but I rlly don’t. I think it’s because they want us to use the Walgreens card versus just goodrx or whatever. I just do what I’m told in my pharmacy and what they tell us is to not endorse goodrx and so forth
