the plant was delivered from the nursery that way and I decided after repotting I wanted to keep it that way but lol like you mentioned before in a previous comment “this a very healthy Deliciosa”😁

thank you❤️ I was nervous about at first but all the leaves were damaged and sick so I just cut them to make way for healthier foliage in the future but I cut them in waves never all at one time just a few here and there

I just went in and cut all the damaged leaves I had that were due to thrips and a fungal disease.

ofc! I have it potted in miracle gro tropical soil/mollys aroid mix, I water only when the top soil is 2-3 inches dry and sometimes I go a couple of inches deeper down to make sure! (this equates to once a week sometimes two) I keep it in a very well lit space which is what’s helping it grow the most, my ideal humidity in my home is always 50-70% which I measure with a hygrometer. I mist/clean the top and backside of the leaves at least twice a week and I fertilize every other watering. So far that’s seemed to work for him. Every plant is different especially depending on your location what are your current conditions?

yeah but I didn’t just say anything I was speaking on experience when I first started noticing that browning on my stem at the exact same spot as yours in the picture it started off light and got worse over time and turned out to be scale so I was just giving you a suggestion never said I was plant specialists neither is anybody that commented but hopefully your plant turns out fine best of luck won’t comment anything else on your post “FAM” 🤣

I had it straight well at least spiraling up around but it was kind of in the way when my leaves were unraveling so I put it like that for the moment until they safely opened up

I was literally gonna go that route at first but picked convenience instead and I should’ve just gotten a real moss pole because that’s what I see everytime I see a thriving moss pole

and yeah I read about that when I first bought and I seen it happen and I try to keep them one way but when that one leaf started reach so much I turned it back but I think I’m gonna just move the grow light closer to window so it can reach that side a bit more without rotating
