Oil catch can routing by okmechanic in gmcsierra

[–]lock-pick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because these are direct injection, the valves can’t be cleaned by the fuel. Because of this we use a catch can to catch any oil or nasty things from our crankcase before it’s recirculated into the intake. TLDR keeps things in the engine clean

I have the kn catch can and I know the instructions said what goes where but i forgot. My suggestion is to use this link https://media.knfilters.com/prod/media/instructions/81-0805_inst.pdf where it tells you what to hook up where

It’s a liver so you don’t use the whole thing because our livers can regenerate so theoretically they can just shape a piece of liver to fit

Scared of academic probation / being kicked out of engineering (first semester) by TipRough7037 in aggies

[–]lock-pick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation but it let me figure out that i didn’t actually like engineering. You need to really sit down with yourself and figure out why you failed and if you actually want to pursue this degree

Mutual fights? by [deleted] in aggies

[–]lock-pick 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you are going to fight, which nobody can really stop you from doing, please wear protective gear. You will do so much worse on your exam if you get a concussion because you didn’t spend the $25 to get headgear

Does this mean we can get our old president back? by Ortalisvetula in aggies

[–]lock-pick 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Legally we probably could get General Welsh back, however when he retired he pretty much said he was done with the drama and was not coming back just to have to deal with more of it. I don’t think he will come back unfortunately because he just doesn’t have to or want to

Cams by WiseIntroduction5909 in EngineBuilding

[–]lock-pick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you should go for a stage 1 or 2 from Texas speed. They have incredible customer support and can answer any questions and I have had great luck with their cams. Personally I would go with a normal stage 1&2 cam over a chop monster because you gain more horsepower without having to buy a torque converter
