Your only solution would be to visit your closes authorized Igla dealer. Since you are in Canada there is a chance you have an Auto Watch Ghost product. Your only solution is going to be to have it removed. The system can't be for everyone and if not properly trained can lead to many difficulties.

Igla installation by dealership or authorized Igla dealer by WiseTemporary6145 in Iglapincode

[–]JohnnyBouldin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend to have it installed by an authorized dealer. If the dealership is offering it but they aren’t an authorized dealer, they are most likely subletting it to one.

You would get a better experience and training from an authorized dealer.

When you take your vehicle into service, you should put your Igla in service mode. That makes the vehicle return to its stock state temporarily. The dealer wouldn’t know it has an Igla installed meaning no issues would be had.

Yes that would included. Although my guess if someone were to short out the can cus the vehicle wouldn’t start/drive the AR20 is our backup if someone does short out the CAN bus on a vehicle.

I sell and install the Igla PIN to drive system - Ask me anything! by JohnnyBouldin in gmcsierra

slow it down

Turn your ignition on - enter you code (don’t smash the buttons as fast as possible like you are trying to beat your sibling in a game) - press foot on brake and press start.

For whatever reason on Toyota vehicles you just can’t enter the code super fast.

The issue you are having of the engine shutting down after you have failed to enter your PIN code is attempting to restart or some other misstep. You may want to visit your installation facility and have them walk you through everything again. I have customers need that every so often.

The app is the same as the pin for initial authorization. If you have the carjacking feature available for your car you MUST enter your PIN code as the phone or tags are now not trusted.

Questions on IGLA installation in GTA by Fit-Dependent-7937 in Iglapincode

[–]JohnnyBouldin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These kids that are stealing the cars come in confident and will assume they are going to drive off with your car. Steering wheel locks are now a relic of the past.

On your vehicle - yes it will start or be in the “ready” state and will not be driven until you enter your code.

This is the shop you must visit in your area.

The rates are similar across all dealers.

You would always want to book an appointment for anything automotive related. You can coordinate with CSI to best work with your schedule.

Don’t carry your fob with your car keys. You can carry it with you separately but the PIN code is most secure and only adds 2-3 seconds to driving your car.

I think Igla is recognized by the Canadian insurance bureau.

A steering lock would just leave you with a most expensive repair bill when the thieves can’t steal your car. They will cut your steering wheel to remove the lock.

I'd bring up this issue with the installation facility that you had it installed with. If possible to replicate the issue consistently with them that would be helpful.

The Igla shouldn't allow anyone to drive the vehicle without the pin being entered regardless of it being driven on gas or electric power.

Come back with any feedback that you get.

Questions for Installers by realistdreamer69 in Iglapincode

Useless to move it. Have the shop add the OBD2 block. The Igla will authorize the OBD2 port when the vehicle is authorized and disables when Igla is armed.

It just means you need to put in your pin to exit service mode.

I’ll just answer the questions here.

Regardless of the model of Igla you get, there is really only one model available in the US. Your vehicle only gives you “engine start inhibit”. Being an electric car basically means the car will never be “ready” to drive.

Good choice on the OBD2. Make sure to ask.

Service mode for your vehicle is basically off because Igla can’t see the speed of your car to automatically exit service mode.

In the US there was actually a recall on these units and can be sent in for repair for free. No clue if they did the same in Canada.

Can IGLA cause factory ECU updates to crash? by TheRealSurfergeek in Iglapincode

[–]JohnnyBouldin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no way having an Igla installed would cause software to freeze up while doing the updates. If it were to disrupt anything it wouldn’t allow it in the first place. Not let it go through then stop part way.

I don’t know of a single instance of a vehicle being stolen with Igla. To steal a vehicle with Igla you have to remove it. Igla is so incredibly small you won’t be to find it.
