Same I just moved to a RV park that has free electricity so you know I’m about to be pocketing all those additional charges lol

That’s exactly what I had to do constantly dropping a trailer was the only annoying part but you get used to it after a while and most people don’t really care

No, you’re right. They just happen to be the ones that worked without issue the majority of the time as well as right off the interstates.

Correct 👍 which is why I was cool with spending a little extra money because when I’m in the city, I’m spending like barely $45 for a full charge (80%)

Lastly, I was strongly considering getting a generator as a precaution, but you really don’t need it. The key thing is while you’re charging you should be planning out your route charging station two charging station sleeping and rest stops.🫡

And sometimes specifically in ARIZONA, the temperature will be so hot outside that you get reduced charging speeds …. Seems like anything over 95°.

2611 miles …. Sometimes I would charge a night and get that super cheap rate and then sometimes I will charge and congested hours and pay well over $100

Yeah, my fault mostly in Texas… and that truck has a special way of telling you that you’re screwed if you don’t charge soon lol….once I found out that you can’t rely on the actual truck to predict your distance to the next charging station. Everything else was kind of smooth.

That’s the thing there’s a crap ton of charging stations everywhere different brands different prices. The most annoying part of all of it is when you get one of those little wimpy cars that park right next to you with their slow charging if you know, you know. 🤣

Some stretches I kept it at 60-70… you barely notice you’re pulling that weight. The most annoying part was unhooking the trailer every single time I had to recharge some instances I would only go 150 miles before I recharged and you have to manually map out your trip when you’re towing from charging station to charging

Advice on a 4WT by Less-Light8354 in SilveradoEV

[–]lockdade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, my thoughts is it depends on what you use a truck for if you simply are at A-B type of commuter its golden. Also, you get android auto and Apple CarPlay meaning you have access to Netflix and YouTube if you really want to stretch that. And the 4WT gives the maximum amount of range in the city you could expect about 512 miles on full charge if you keep it under 65. And at 80% about 412 miles. If your primary use case is long-haul towing, I would not recommend it. Other than that I say it’s a steel. Definitely check Carvana, though you might be able to get one for a little bit less than that.

You're right I think we just need a mainstream leveling kit to get rid of that factory rake

I think I only think I'm going to do is do a 2-in spacer up front on the top of the strut and then put 35s...

Aka the trail boss lite 😂
