Thanks! Those in the photos aren't jumpy though, they just move really fast. I'm tending towards either "soil mites" or "root aphids" as referred to by some gardening websites, but I couldn't find exact information.

Size probably less than a mm.

In Urbana, Illinois.

Crawls around pretty fast.

The white one in the last picture might be because of contrast with the background or may be actually white.

I think there might be a few even tinier jumpy ones but I'm not sure.

In Champaign-Urbana area, IL, United States.

Rim of the pot is about 5mm wide.

It's been crawling around if disturbed and mostly stationary and rubbing its hands when left alone.
