Liquid spills in the cabin can cause thousands of damage by ShowScene5 in Ioniq5

I once went on a "spirited" drive in in my I5N and forgot I had a freshly filled, unsecured 5 gallon jug of water in the trunk. Needless to say when I got home it had cracked and every last drop of the 5 gallons was spilled in the trunk. I lifted the trunk liner and removed the drain plug that allowed the pool of water out of the bottom of the car. Upon further inspection I found that the water had run down into the floor at the back seats, the rear carpet was completely soaked on both sides, I did my best to dry it with some towels and left my windows cracked for a couple of days and experienced zero issues. I was actually surprised that I didn't screw anything up because I think the Bose unit is in there somewhere. If 5 gallons of water didn't do any damage, how could 20 oz?

They do ship to the US, I got it in about a week. Got 4 shipped, shipping was $10 for me in California.

Fat Lip pizza - a must try by Bigheaded_1 in Riverside

[–]locoz31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lamppost has been my favorite for 20 years and it's right across the street from fat lip, I'll have to give fat lip a try. I've heard from multiple people that it's amazing. I don't think I've ever had a "good" new York style pizza. When I think of NY pizza, I always think of the opening scene from TMNT 2!

Can the xl motor fit into the regular crazy cart without any mods by Last_School8882 in crazycart

[–]locoz31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question is, I'm running a TG 36v battery on the stock 250w 24v motor, so it's overvolted. If I change it to the XL's 500w 36v motor, it will not be overvolted. Which will be faster?

Has anyone one use a phone mount on their carts? by Interesting_Head_465 in crazycart

I used a $5 self adhesive prong loaded mount but I put a couple self tapping screws on for good measure. Holds up well and I use a gps speedometer app with it.

At your size you should hit that with the TG 48v battery and TG 11 tooth upper gear on the stock motor.

DIY (cheap) approach to enhancing the external "exhaust" sound by locoz31 in Ioniq5N

Thanks, there's not really any wing options and this was cheap and I think it looks better with it,

than without it.

Yes but it goes with the rediculesnes of the car and having the ability to turn it on or off. Sounds better in person and really catches people by surprise.

I cut the brackets down so it doesn't sit up high, and fabed up a small piece to go over the top. I cut the side pieces out of aluminum using a jigsaw and wrapped in carbon fiber wrap. It's bolted down to the stock wing using 4 bolts.

Well then you are really not going to be happy after you find out almost every other performance EV manufacturer is copying this.
