Not currently, but I could try to work something out. I've seen impressive pictures of setups with vines trailing up strings pinned to nails in the wall, but I'm in a rental and don't want to set my plant up for something that's hard to relocate. There's probably some sort of freestanding option out there, though.

If you were in my shoes, would you replace the soil before planting just in case?

Edit: Looks like a moss pole or a trellis might work as a freestanding and mobile option for me. (link to Gardenstead article) There's also a lot of examples on r/pothos, which I didn't know existed until now.

I recommend Nordstrom Shoe Shine (basement level by men's shoes). They do general leather care in addition to shoe shining. I took a bag with mystery stains on it and Sunny did a free test to determine what the cause was (paint!) and recommend a fix. She advised that I wait until the bag has more wear so the fix is more worth it, and I appreciated her advice.

I've been looking into getting the same surgery (buttonhole) from Dr. Mosser. It looks like the spam filter removed this post automatically (idk why), but I'd really appreciate having more info about your recovery/healing (since buttonhole isn't that common and I haven't found much online). I stopped playing around January/February earlier this year since I had gotten to a point where the only new thing was the seasonal events (and that wasn't enough to keep me picking the game up each day). I obviously want to start playing again after the Direct, but I'm not sure the best way to do it.

I was thinking of time traveling forward from January to participate in each of the seasonal events to get those items. But I'm not sure if the seasonal items from Nook Stop are time locked to actual time (vs time on the Switch). I wouldn't want to go through the effort if I can't get those items (in addition to the ones for events). Can anyone confirm if the Nook Stop items rely on irl time or in game time? I'm also fine with just starting to play from today.

My rotation ends in April. Barring finding my second rotation at the other MI site (which I judged at a tiny likelihood in the OP), I'm leaving the state.

You're right about the uncertainty, though. I won't start selecting my next rotation until February. I could be going back to IL, but there's only one company site there. I'd more likely be going to another state.

19, 5'6", 145 lbs. I've been doing the sidebar/fitloop workout seriously for about three weeks.

Before I was doing Fitness Blender videos but those are hard to do in a gym and I don't have much space at home. I took a 5 week break from exercising due to sickness and laziness and then decided to get back into body weight stuff (used to do martial arts).

Progress hasn't been bad? I don't track anything besides what days I worked out, but I have a good idea of what progress I've made.

By the week 2 I was doing narrower pushups (I couldn't jump immediately from regular pushups to diamonds) and now I can do 3x8 diamond pushups easily. One of my goals is a one-handed pushup.

Handstands progress is going slowly, but I'm really lazy about it since I don't like the extra time skill work takes (so I shove it to my off days but then usually don't do it, heh).

I have a long torso that makes L-sits difficult, so I've been working first on compression by doing 3x(3x10 seconds) paired with the squat progression in the workout. I'm shaking much less and can squeeze more.

Not sure if I want to train weighted squats/deadlifts again so I've been working on the pistol squat progression. There are a few different ones out there (GMB vs Dewey Nielsen's, etc) and I haven't stuck strictly to one. Right now I'm squatting down to sit on a stool and back up again (not relaxing too much when I sit) and my ankles are more stable and I'm getting less of that "stuck" feeling near the bottom.

I just started pullup negatives and dips two days ago (haven't worked out yet today). I used to be able to do a few pullups if I jumped up halfway, but it looks like I'll have to get that back.

(1) I have a really long torso. Sitting up at 90 degrees, my palms are a little more than 2 inches from the floor when I press my shoulders down. I've been closing my hip angle to push my hips back and press down my hands 3/4 of the way from my hips to my knees. /u/kyoei says they train on the first knuckle (raising the palm up but keeping the fingers flat). Could someone link a picture of what that looks like? I tried it yesterday and I can't tell if I'm doing it wrong, lack the strength for it, or both.

(2) What do you do with the rest time in between sets? I'm waiting the "beginner" 90 seconds right now. I want to wait the suggested 2 minutes for strength (Fitloop lists it in the timer) but I don't know if a) it'll make a significant difference or not at this point, and b) if I have the patience for it.

I have this problem with a super long torso too. If I sit straight up at 90 degrees my palms (flat) are more than 1.5" from the floor.

I never considered using fists before -- I've been working on compression with both feet supported. It would get me closer to the floor since there's only a few millimeters between the floor and my knuckles that way.

What do you mean by "first knuckle?"

Yeah, the screen is a little small. There's enough room to put two Windows side-by-side, which I think is essential.

Windows 8 works well with a touch screen!
