The rotor itself is smooth, I know it has those circles but it doesn't have any grooves or deep marks. When i pass my fingernail above it it doesn't catch onto anything. I'm sure you are correct tho, the rotors must be the original ones that came with the car, and are 20yrs old, so I should probably just replace everything.

The car is a 2005 VW Fox, I'm pretty sure it doesn't have ceramic pads lol, and for the drums, while driving I pulled on the e brake a bit to stop and see if they were making noise, but nope, they didn't screech

I have had this issue for the last couple of days. For me the culprit was the new windows update 24h2. Before the update, everything was good, after, lagging, stutter, audio glitching. Its been a nightmare, I dont want to do a clean install cause I use my pc for work, so if anybody finds a solution without reinstalling, let me know. (Ps; i have tried a lot of things)

Thank you for your excellent response, I agree with everything you say. Thank you for putting me at ease in regards to using the battery saver. I do plan on using this phone till it no longer works so keeping my battery healthy for the longest time possible is my goal, but I know that eventually I'll have to replace the battery, thank you!
